Born to Brian O'Sullivan, she was blessed with one sister, named Sinead. It was her second time ever to be awarded the So you think you're Funny award in 2012. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian committed suicide at the age of three. He was a veterinarian for horses. Bea wasn't told the particulars of how he passed away until she turned 13. In 2017, she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and chose to adopt her stage name Bea in tribute. Bea (n e Moloney), along with the younger sibling Sinead was brought up by Helen who was a teacher as well as a jockey trainer, who was a professional jockey. They were all obsessed with horses and race events. Bea was a coach for the Irish National Stud in her beginning years.
