Aisling Bea

Aisling Bea is one of the most popular and richest Comedian who was born on March 16 1984 on the island of Kildare Ireland. She has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage title Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984), is a popular Irish comedian and actress. Bea's acting career began in the year the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in small parts for Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. Bea began performing regularly in sitcoms and sketch comedy from 2012. When she won an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for numerous panel shows for which she is now a regular. She was captain of team 8 Out of 10 Cats team in 2016 through 2017 and has been an ongoing contestant on its spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She was the only woman ever to receive the So You Think You're Funny award in 2012. She has the surname Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh-Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet who committed suicide shortly after Bea became an individual who committed suicide. Bea was informed of his death at 13 years old. She adopted the stage name Bea in honor of her father. She she wrote a piece for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's experiences of suicide. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were fostered by their mom Helen (nee Moloney) who was a secondary school teacher jockey trainer as well as a professional jockey. They were all obsessed with races and horses. In her youth Bea was employed as an instructor at the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early age that she wasn't drawn to racing as a career, instead she wanted to perform.
