Aisling Bea

Aisling Bea is regarded as one of the most popular and wealthy Comedian who was born on the 16th of March 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress, and comedian. Following appearances in bits in several Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea began her journey as a stand-up comedian in 2011. The year 2012 saw her begin to regularly appear on sitcoms and sketch shows. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she got booked on various panels for the shows, and is currently a regular. Between 2016 and 2017, she was the team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has her younger sister Sinead. In 2012, she became the second woman to ever win the So You Think you're Funny award. Bea is her maiden name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born April 16, 1984 in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian Equestrian Vet who committed suicide after Bea turned three was the victim of suicide. She was told about his passing at 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea in honor of her father and she wrote a piece for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher jockey trainer, and a former professional jockey. The family was enthralled by horses and racing. As a young girl, Bea employed as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early age that she was not keen on the sport of racing as a career and instead wanted to perform.
