Aisling Bea

Aisling bea was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is one of Ireland's wealthiest and famous comedians. Bea has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) also known as Aisling Bea is an Irish actress, comedian and writer. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011, having appeared in bits on various Irish television series and British series from 2009. She began appearing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in the year 2012. It was her first time appearing in panel programs after winning an award for an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She was the captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. In 2012 she became the first woman ever to be awarded the So You Think you're Funny award. Bea was named after her in memory of her father. Aisling Claiodhnadh, born on the 16th of March, 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. Their father Brian was an equine veterinarian who took himself when Bea was a toddler but she wasn't told how he died until she reached the age of 13. In 2017, she created an essay in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and chose to adopt her stage name Bea in tribute. Bea together with her younger sister Sinead, were brought up under the guidance of Helen Moloney (nee Moloney) as a former jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Her family were obsessed with racing and horses. Bea began her career working as a guide for tours at the Irish National Stud. However she realized very early that the race industry was not the best fit for her.
