Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born Henry John Germandorf of Roswell near New Mexico fell in love with Colorado. He moved to Aspen. Denver's popular songs about his new home state have inspired many people to move to Colorado. I can't think of any other performer who embodies Colorado such as John Denver said G. Brown director of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. In the year 2011, Denver was selected as the Hall of fame's first inductee. He is the face of Colorado to many all over the world. On my trips I've encountered people who are from New Zealand or the other side. If you tell them you're from Colorado the first words they'll use are Oh John Denver. Brown stated. Take Me Home Country Roads was one of Denver's biggest solo achievement after having performed with small folk bands. It was co-written and produced by Bill Danoff. Danoff initially wrote the song using Johnny Cash's songs in head, however Denver realized from the first time he heard early versions that the song was going to be an instant success. Following the performance during a concert in Washington D.C. to a huge crowd, the singer made a recording a few days later.
