John Denver, a singer-songwriter of Colorado who was a specialist in folk-pop music that was a hit with millions of fans. Born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico, Denver fell in affection with Colorado before settling in Aspen. Denver's state anthems are a hit and have drawn many people to Colorado. There isn't any other performer who embodies Colorado as well as John Denver said G. Brown director of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.
